I recently visited the West Omaha location of Isla Del Mar, and it was an overall great experience! I ordered the Quesadilla de Birria, which was absolutely fantastic. The quesadilla was flavorful and came with a delicious vaso de consommé that was rich and tasty--a perfect pairing. I also tried something new: a sushi roll called Tres Quesos. This Mexican-sushi fusion roll was a unique combination of crab, shrimp, and a three-cheese mix. While the breading was quite heavy, the portion size was gigantic, making it well worth trying, especially if you're curious about fusion cuisine. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is enormous, with plenty of seating. My main critique would be the lighting--it's a bit too bright with fluorescent lights. Softer, warmer lighting would really help set a more inviting and cozy ambience. For the price, value, and quality of food, Isla Del Mar is definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back to explore more of their menu!

Today I visited Isla Del Mar ( 132 st) and the experience was very pleasant! The staff did a great job in the reception (Ariana), in the restaurant Stephanie gave a great orientation about the menu to a American citizen didn't know lot about Mexican food and the best end was Con Azúcar Café where Billy explain the type of coffee they have and all the products they offer for enjoy with some coffee ! Very clean and great service ! Note: I think all the staff need to have their name with the uniform..feel great when you can call a member of the staff by their name, that is something basic in every uniform for business have the staff with their name on ..I needed to ask each one of the person for their name for can tell them about the good services I received!.. fixing that and will be perfect!

We love this place! There's so many speciality sushi rolls to choose from, it's hard to limit yourself! The regular, speciality, and fried ones are all tasty. The portions are huge! I'll be honest I've only tried the sushi but it's so good I don't want to try anything else. The staff is always nice. The place is huge and the decor is so special. And the new ice cream parlor is sweet!!! So many options and it's so pretty

I've heard great things about Isla Del Mar and was excited to try this spot out. It's in a large shopping plaza, and the restaurant is huge! It's so beautifully decorated, with tons of bright colors, photo op areas, and hand painted murals all over! I was impressed how the cafe and ice cream palor kind of give food hall. We sat in the back area and our server was quick to get us drinks and water. We got birria and fajitas, only because we're seafood people but we saw countless seafood dishes, looking great! They're one of the best seafood spots in town so we hear. The fajitas were good! A generous portion of steak and veggies. My husband got the birria and I tried it, it's not my kind of dish but everything traditonal was affordably priced. The atmosphere is cool, it is such a large space, the paintings on the wall definitely help warm it up in there. There is so much room, I would imagine 200 people could comfortable dine here.

We randomly ended up here on a Friday night and it was such a happy accident. The food was great, the service was solid, and they were in the middle of a grand opening for some of the other businesses in the space so the atmosphere was definitely entertaining. I am still thinking about the enchilada I had and am looking forward to coming back!

West location is a centrally located off 132nd Center, Omaha, NE. It is tucked away from the busy street inside a strip mall. It's open for large groups, family tables or you can sit in the bar area. They have authentic MX decor, upbeat music in the background that's not very loud. It's a big place with a big menu! I've tried sushi that's good-I've seen daily specials buy 2 get 1 free. My go to is the Birria Burrito stuffed with shredded beef, beans & rice! I can never eat it all so I get 2 meals from it. There's not a lot of flavor, but the meat is really good! Chips & salsa are both hearty. There's not a lot to choose from for Premium Margarita's. One of the best after dinner options is their new dessert/ice cream/sherbet bar. Holy Moly there's so many flavors to choose from!!! It's an experience for all of the family to enjoy! So far my fave is Mangonada!

This restaurant is located in the old Aldi location at 132nd and Center by Dave & Busters. I enjoy the fact that they left the original doors in place. The rest of the restaurant is completely redone. Pretty cool the way they broke the space up, including a full service bar and ice cream counter. Food is fantastic. They serve everything from seafood based entrees, including sushi rolls, to various Barria entrees. I recommend this place. Staff is attentive and ready to assist with any menu questions. I will be back.

Ok so here's the thing. I went to the one in south Omaha and LOVED IT. Went to the one at 132nd and center and was very disappointed. Ordered the exact same dish (crab enchiladas) and it was much much different flavor wise. We loved out sushi rolls! The space was amazing and nice to see they are opening up the front of house for a couple other places that hadn't opened yet. The service was great and very observant of customer needs and wants. BUT I asked the waiter if I could get some other chips as the ones we got tasted burnt but he pretty much said no that's how they taste because they are fresh chips. I understand fresh chips but they were burnt, the other locations were amazing. Kinda disappointed in this location but we will return to the south omaha one soon.
